The Diocese of New England was very blessed to have a further visit from His Grace The Most Rev Dr Stephen Samuel Kazimba Mugalu - Archbishop of the Church of Uganda.

March has been such a bountiful month with our spiritual fathers visiting us from Uganda. The delegation of Bishops was led by His Grace the most reverend Arch Bishop Samuel Steven Kaziimba (The Arch Bishop of the province of the Church of Uganda), Assistant Bishop Frederick Baalwa of Kampala Diocese, Bishop Enos Kagodo Kitto of Mukono Diocese and Bishop Wilson Kisekka of Luweero Diocese .

They blessed us with God’s word, baptism, fellowship, visiting home cells or zones and meeting with various congregants that contributed towards the ministry back in their Dioceses in Uganda. We bless the Lord for this great opportunity to have them among us.
To God be the glory 🙏

St. Peter’s Winchester Celebrates 18th Anniversary

St. Peter’s Winchester, led by the Rev. Amos Kimera, celebrated 18 years as a church on Sunday, September 15th, 2024

The whole family, every generation joined in worship, thanksgiving to God, and celebration for the last 18 years. Honored guests were Bishop Hannington, Provost Rebecca, and Canon Jonathon – all from Kampala! They were also joined by Ven. Dr. Alex Kasirye-Musoke (the founding Rector) to whom a special tribute was paid. Bishop Andrew was joined by ADNE’s Standing Committee Chairman Josh Vanada for the thanksgiving service and the lavish celebrations that followed.

Bishop Andrew commented, “This is a wonderful story of faith overcoming challenges and of the Lord’s abiding presence, leading, and goodness. It is so good to see every age blessed and nurtured in this family of God. How wonderful that children who were present at the beginning of this amazing story are now adults with children of their own – raising them in the love of Jesus.”
