The Diocese of New England was blessed with a memorable pastoral visit from the Archbishop, who was accompanied by the Bishop of Mukono Diocese, The Most Reverend Enos Kitto Kagodo, the Bishop of Luwero Diocese, Rev. Kiseka, and Rev. Kafeero. This significant occasion was marked by a series of spiritual and community-building activities that underscored the unity and shared mission within the Anglican Church.
Among the highlights of the visit was the introduction of the newly appointed Assistant Bishop, the Venerable Fredrick Baalwa. His installation was met with joy and thanksgiving, as he begins his new chapter of ministry within the Diocese.
The Archbishop and his delegation also presided over a baptism service, celebrating the growth of faith within the local congregation and affirming the Church’s mission of nurturing new believers.
The central aim of the visit was to strengthen the relationship between the Diocese and St. Peter’s Church community. Through shared worship, fellowship, and dialogue, bonds were deepened, and the spirit of collaboration renewed. The presence of distinguished church leaders served as a powerful reminder of the Church’s commitment to unity, pastoral care, and mission both at home and abroad.
The Diocese of New England expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the Archbishop and accompanying bishops for their time, spiritual leadership, and encouragement. The visit marks a new chapter of fellowship and ministry, and the community looks forward to the continued strengthening of ties in the years to come.
